My hope for this blog is to share cooking ideas, comment on political observations, share life’s experiences, and hope my site will help you enjoy life!

At this posting, I’m a retired senior, a grandpa and recently a great grandpa. After retiring I began an interest in home cooking. This was multifaceted. I wanted to have my bride of nearly 60 years to also “retire” and allow me to take over some things she did wonderfully for so long.

I also had a lesser desire to explore and try interesting recipes.

I am a political conservative concerned with excessive Federal spending and our National debt. Reason: our grandchildren and now great-grandchild.

I respect that others have different political goals but reject their demands that all should accept and endorse their ideals.

Finally, I hope my blog will contribute some recipe, some idea, some observation that you will enjoy or appreciate
